ART CLASSES at Soaring Peacock Studio
Classes are taught in a weekly 1 hour 15minutes format in my home. Classes are offered on Tuesdays 4:30-5:45; Wednesdays 5:00-
6:15 and Thursdays 4:30-5:45. I also have some daytime spots left for homeschooled students 11:30-12:45. Focus is on developing
each person’s unique style and on exploring various techniques using acrylics and mixed media. Students are provided with
sketchbooks, tshirt/smock to protect clothing, and work with Artist quality paints, canvases, mediums, gels and pastes as well as a
variety of mark making tools. All supplies are included in the monthly materials fee. Class begins with warm up exercises, and some
of the instruction is process oriented where they try out techniques without worrying about results. The remainder of class time is
spent on their own paintings. Each student is encouraged to create original works that they wish to create.
Fees are $25 for 1hr & 15 minutes each class of instruction plus a $10.00 monthly materials fee. Contact Denise at 780-662-4506;
