The block construction of Etherna allows for very easy content creation. Some things just cannot be made easier.
10 am – 1 pm : Morning activities are centred at Tofield Community Hall and include: displays and exhibits by the Valley Zoo, Beaverhill Bird Observatory, Mike Jenkins (City of Edmonton), bird slideshow by Don Delaney, and well-known Alberta personalities John Acorn the Nature Nut, and Pete Heule from the Royal Alberta Museum—hawks, owls, snakes, spiders, pond life, fossils, and more Bring the kids and check out the fun!
1:30 pm departure: Pre-register for the afternoon “Spring Migration” bus tour available to the public .

- Start time: 1:30 pm (buses will not wait)
- Return time: 4:00 pm
Additional Info: Experienced volunteers will be on the bus to point out and identify birds and other wildlife. The route will be according to reports from the morning of migrating waterfowl in the area. The tour is on school buses, there are no washrooms on the bus.
We suggest you bring binoculars and a snack. Come out first to see the exhibits at the Tofield hall, and then take the bus tour.
